sign up to flusurvey!
This year, Flusurvey scientists are collaborating with i-sense, an £11m EPSRC funded interdisciplinary research collaboration led by UCL to develop early warning systems for infectious disease. In an exciting new development this year, some participants who register at flusurvey.org.uk will be offered a swab to get laboratory confirmation of whether their symptoms are caused by a flu virus or not. Furthermore, i-sense data from social media and internet searches will also be combined with the data collected from Flusurvey to allow flu trends to be monitored more accurately and earlier than ever before.
You can register as a member of the IDRN. Membership is free. We already have over 2800 members. As a member, you will have access to
- Researchers database
- Presentations and reports from IDRN workshops
- IDRN mailing list (a maximum of one email a week is sent out)
