Dr Agam Jung, University of Liverpool, is working on a study entitled 'TB Meningitis in the UK – a retrospective case control study.'
There is the opportunity for local UK-based collaborators to get involved in this study. This is a retrospective multicentre case control study and will assess the applicability of the Vietnam Algorithm in clinically diagnosing TB Meningitis in the UK. Secondary outcomes of the study include an evaluation of the clinical features, laboratory, and radiological parameters; identification of diagnostic delays, direct health care costs and quality of life aspects of patients with TB Meningitis.
